About the Role
The Client Care Advisor is the primary point of contact and advocate for our clients and their families — ensuring every person we serve gets personalized, high-quality care. You'll build lasting relationships, guide families through the decision to start care, coordinate everything from Care Pro introductions to ongoing service plans, and make sure care evolves as needs change.
This role is a mix of relationship-building, problem-solving, and operational coordination — ideal for someone who's compassionate, organized, and confident guiding families through an emotional decision.
What You'll Do
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and families, building trust-based, lasting relationships
- Conduct in-depth care consultations with prospective clients and families — assess needs, build customized care plans, and guide families to a confident decision
- Follow up consistently with prospective clients who haven't yet started services, staying engaged without being pushy
Care Coordination & Quality Assurance
- Own client service plans and adapt them as needs evolve
- Partner with schedulers and Care Pros to ensure seamless service delivery
- Conduct regular quality assurance visits and keep documentation current
- Lead client and Care Pro introductions, making sure both sides start off on the right foot
Collaboration & Problem-Solving
- Work with Care Pros, healthcare professionals, and families to get the best outcome for each client
- Handle client concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a bias toward action
- Spot opportunities to improve care and advocate for additional support when a client needs it
Compliance & Documentation
- Keep client records, care assessments, and service plans accurate and current
- Follow all company policies and compliance requirements
What We're Looking For
Experience
- Background in client services, healthcare, senior care, social work, or care coordination strongly preferred
- Experience working directly with older adults, families, and caregivers is a plus
Education
- Degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Gerontology, or related field preferred, not required
Technical Skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with client management software a plus
Other Requirements
- Available for occasional evening/weekend on-call rotation
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Who Thrives in This Role
- Genuine empathy and compassion for older adults and their families
- Strong communicator — builds trust and rapport through clear, warm verbal and written communication
- Organized and levelheaded under pressure — manages multiple clients and priorities at once
- Detail-oriented — keeps records, care plans, and documentation accurate
- Collaborative — works well with Care Pros and office staff
- Confident guiding families through decisions — comfortable turning a care inquiry into a plan of action
